Prepare to be dazzled

Recent patrons of the main branch of the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County downtown may have noticed three huge cabinets covered with green tarp, one on each of the library's three main floors.

Inside them are three 135-year-old stained-glass windows that came from the original main library building at 629 Vine St.

It's encouraging to see these beautiful historical pieces renewed and on display. I'll have to go check them out this week!

used to go to the old spag factory as a kid and then walk to reds games.  it was quite the treat.

I can still remember going there.  Never had the chance to sit in one of those trolleys though.

I never went there either, but someone said you could see it in this picture - anyone know which building it is?

located a little bit west of that picture. It was at 417 west pete rose way..the building used to house a furniture co, a sash and door maker and later a food wareouse..between brent spence bridge and riverfront stadium.
