Good idea!

Hmm...looks like you just did it!

I don't have any inside info to contribute, but indeed, nice idea!

I nominate Colday & MayDay to head the Columbus and Cleveland networks respectively.

I nominate you to nominate someone else.

Folks - don't ever say "Graphics Designer" or "Graphics Assistant".

"Graphic" is the preferred term - "graphics" is the term used by clueless soccer moms in the marketing department, or the annoying sales rep who thinks his one art class in high school is reason enough to tell you how to do your job.

Developers Diversified seeks more personnel

By STAN BULLARD

2:13 pm, February 7, 2007

Developers Diversified Realty Corp. expects to hire at least 60 people at its Beachwood headquarters as a result of its pending acquisition of more than 300 shopping centers owned by Chicago-based Inland Real Estate Trust Inc.

To help fill the jobs, Developers Diversified is holding a career fair from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Corporate College East, in Warrensville Heights.

Nan Zieleniec, Developers Diversified senior vice president for human resources, said the company would add about 100 jobs locally and nationally due to the Inland acquisition. That figure includes about 35 it has hired or plans to hire to handle the Inland properties.

The numbers that are hired will vary as Developers Diversified works through the merger because it expects to serve some shopping centers from out-of-town offices it already operates, Ms. Zieleniec said. The company also is interviewing for positions it expects to add due to other growth and personnel needs in the near future, she said.

Developers Diversified will be interviewing for local jobs in accounting, finance and administration and for jobs outside Northeast Ohio in leasing and property management.

Inland shareholders are scheduled to vote Feb. 22 on Inland’s proposed merger with the Beachwood real estate investment trust. Developers Diversified expects to close on the $6.2 billion acquisition of Inland by March 31.

Developers Diversified currently owns more than 500 shopping centers in 44 states, Puerto Rico and Brazil.

If you know what kind of employer they are, please post or PM me.  My main concern is whether or not they demand late nights and weekends.  Thanks.

hello all.  So I am in the process of updating my resume since I am starting a new job and new school and will be looking for a summer internship next summer.  And...I am a bit bored.  Anyway, does anyone have good resume formats to follow, etc?  I am sick of the one I have and need to update it sorely.  I saw ones online but I figured coming on here would be better, esp. if peole can provide insight to good formats specifically for planning type jobs.  Any information would be helpful.  Thanks!

does anyone want to give me a job?

does anyone want to give me a job?

Give?  That made chuckle Vulp!

What type of job do you want and where would you like your career path to lead?

Vulpster: Have you heard of Doostang? Many people get career offers through it. My friend is a member, I'm trying to get him to invite me (its invite-only, similar to G-Mail). It's basically facebook meets Monster and based on the strength of weak-ties theory. Recruiters love it because its exclusiveness has resulted in a much higher quality workforce than monster.

does anyone want to give me a job?

Give?  That made chuckle Vulp!

What type of job do you want and where would you like your career path to lead?

Okay, well my ideal job is with the Cleveland Foundation, but I am looking for any opportunities in communications. I graduated from Miami University with a degree in political science (with an emphasis on community affairs). And I'm looking to build off my last two summer internships in marketing; one with the Convention and Vistors Bureau of Greater Cleveland and the other with a global Fortune 500 (consumer products) company called Henkel Corporation where I interned in Vienna, Austria.

I (think) I have a pretty impressive resume for a reccent college grad, and I'd be more than willing to forward it to someone. Just let me know!

My preference is of course Cleveland, but I'd be happy with any entry-level positions in the Great Lakes region or East Coast.

Anyone looking for an internship with a CDC in Cleveland for the 2007-2008 academic year?  It primarily entails assisting neighborhood residents with home repairs, although you'll have the opportunity to gain some meaningful experience in real estate development.

Please PM me if you're interested.

anyone who needs a doostang invite, PM me
