February 22, 201015 yr Musky, Banksy is so awesome... those of you who don't know his work should check it out: http://www.banksy.co.uk/ Mine is on the other end of the art spectrum... our own CMA Thanks!
June 25, 201014 yr My new Avatar. I've always loved this war-propaganda artwork for the Pennsylvania Railroad, which has to be inspired by the awesome industrial might of the Cleveland - Youngstown - Pittsburgh corridor 60-70 years ago and can be had again.... "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
June 25, 201014 yr Thanks for reviving this thread KJP. I like your new avatar. My current one is, of course, noted Ohian and Youngstownian Ed O'neil as "Al Bundy" from the long running TV show 'Married With Children'. It's a joke from a conversation I had on how sometimes I think if my life was given the sitcom treatment it would be something straight off of FOX in the early 90s like Married w/ or Malcom in the Middle. Of course it doesn't hurt that Ed is from Y-town.
June 26, 201014 yr I have had this for a while now and it'll probably change soon, but mine is the old Updegraff Hotel (Center City Building) in Downtown Williamsport:
June 26, 201014 yr I like your avatar too, KJP. Makes me think of my great grandma who passed away about 9 years ago. She used to tell us how she was a "Rosie the Riveter" during WWII, in the Pittsburgh area. I imagine she saw plenty of artwork like this at the time.
December 17, 201014 yr My avatar is obviously Velma from Scooby-Doo. We have an uncanny resemblance. And she was waaay cooler than Daphne. :-D
December 17, 201014 yr Mine is the flag for the neighborhood Over-the-Rhine in Cincy. Feel free to download your copy at http://www.wix.com/otrflag/otr I have a full size one hanging in my room. I also gave a full size one to Mike at Mica 12/v and Dan at Park+Vine. Has anyone seen them?
