Mine is a picture I took of the old Federal Court House in Cleveland at the opening night of the first iNGENUiTY festival. I had a really crappy 1.5mp camera, but I think the graininess adds to the picture.

lol, I never looked closely at your avatar and always thought it was a shot of the front of a train with the headlamp shining out.

Funny.

Your right, it does.

I wanted an IKEA inspired avatar.  I dont believe that this piece of furniture even comes from IKEA, but I figured it would do the trick for what I wanted it for.

Mine shows the backs of buildings in the old Chinatown -- Rockwell Avenue between 21st and 24th streets. I shot them from the parking lot of Phoenix Coffee on Superior Avenue. The painted words say "Welcome to Chinatown."

the greatest furniture store (and commercials) in cleveland

My avatar couldn't be anymore axiomatic.

The Huletts--they were used to lift iron ore from the lake erie ore boats.

I also thought it was a train.

I'll have to find a 8x10 of that for my dad.  As long as I can remember, he always talks about that play.

If you search for Cleveland Browns on youtube there is a tribute video that shows the play. I watched a bunch of them to get me riled up for the season.

I hope people don't think the new avatar I made is blasphemous :[

Awesome! I sent a copy to my co-workers who often repeat that line.

Hey MrNYC ... I love your new avatar -- Johnny Sokko and his Flying Robot! I loved that TV show when I was a kid in the early 70s.

I can't remember either. My folks said I loved Ultraman, too. But for some reason I don't remember that. I was also a big fan of Godzilla -- even bought the video in my adult years.

I asked a pop culture nut at our office, and he says Johnny Sokko and Ultraman were both on Channel 61, back-to-back.

^Ultraman rules.  Does pop culture man remember Star Blazers?

thank god.  No more headaches!  :-P

Well it was a choice of the following below, but I decided to make my own after watching a South Park episode on accident.

Try it for yourself here: http://www.sp-studio.de/

or these:

I like the kitten one!  But your current (south park themed) avatar works for me.

My avatar is an X because I am too lazy to find a new one.. :-D

I've used the Mr. T one before. I forgot all about that one.

Batman and the bomb.  Now THAT's funny.  Mine is of course the Shoe in Columbus in the early evening.

The Sun!  It's almost as powerful as my "vicious optimism".

My avatar is a Frank Gehry on east campus.

Megatron.  Not only is he the Decepticon commander, he's got the biggest robo-phallus, which he displays with pride.

Captain Planet. My hero. And gay buddy. THE POWER IS YOURS!

Megatron.  Not only is he the Decepticon commander, he's got the biggest robo-phallus, which he displays with pride.

His phallus gets a lot smaller when he actually turns into a gun, though. All of him does, actually.

One thing that always bugged me about Transformers is there blatant disregard for the Law of Conservation of Mass.

Mine is the album cover for the Tipping Point by the Roots.  They've had another album since, but resized down to 100 x 100, the other album covers wouldn't look like much.

The Gateway Urban Living Quarter one does come in a close second though...

When you become rich you should start a restaurant...Uncle Rando's Chili.. that's a sweet name for a chili place! Just come in periodically and make sure none of the staff is sitting around at the bar on their shift like they all seem to do at Skyline :)
