Posted November 9, 200618 yr Yesterday I made my 2nd trip down to Monroe. This time I mainly focused on getting shots of its old houses and I also went to historic Woodland Cemetery. I will start off with the pictures taken in June. Now for yesterday’s pictures. Here is historic Woodland Cemetery: Alexander Grant House, built circa 1861 Otto Kopf House, 1903, Queen Anne Ovis House, 1916, Colonial Revival
November 9, 200618 yr ^You seem to like homes with that feature at the top....blankling on the name. That would be my favorite if the porch wasn't altered. I prefer the last house I suppose, although I like many of them. Great thread! I should do a Monroe, Ohio thread...boy what a contrast.
November 10, 200618 yr ^You seem to like homes with that feature at the top....blanking on the name. Bevedere or cupola. Yeah, the porch is kind of messed up, but that wouldn't be a major thing to fix. Considering how much of the rest of the house has kept its integrity, the porch is pretty inconsequential to me.
