Welp. Now the original Dunnhumby is vacating the old space entirely, and shipping its 70 employees out to Norwood.

 

I wonder what will happen to that building.

 

Level it for a parking lot?  I don't know. Is it worth saving in that location?

 

If I recall correctly, there were a few different options being studied for how the new Brent Spence Bridge could connect to Fort Washington Way. Either they could use a slower-speed ramp that curved around that building or demolish it and build a faster-speed ramp that cuts through that space.

 

If the building's tenant is now leaving, I feel like they should just demolish it. It's totally isolated from what's happening downtown, and I'm sure there's a ton of highway noise from all the ramps above.

I would support demolition if it increases the amount of developable land from consolidating the various ramps connecting to the highway. But I don't think it will.
