If you smoked cigarettes up to 1996, it may have come from the Parker Tobacco Company. They processed tobacco for many years and expanded overseas before financial difficulties forced them to file for Chapter 11. Although it is technically in Kentucky at Maysville, burley was shipped in from many surrounding counties that was stored in the dozen+ warehouses that dot the countryside.

Dear Christ.

Seriously, you need to invite Colday & myself over to your place. We would love to photograph the city from your patio. That is a fantastic view. Do you live in Park Hills?

Well thx for thinking of everyone else Jayson!

Under the Main Street (US-50) overpass in Chillicothe, OH... I know it's blurry but this is one of the coolest places I have ever seen in one of the most interesting towns I have ever been to...

This loses a lot of the detail at this size but I made a 6' wide print of this. It's a handful of pix merged together.

And I'm a rule breaker so here's one more pic. It's my latest view shot. It has a bit more contrast than the last.

Empire News and Books is an independent bookstore at Pullman Square in Huntington, West Virginia that features hundreds upon hundreds of magazine subscriptions, books, and local flare. It has been so successful that the owners will be building a localized store in Columbus, Ohio!

Just kinda like the feel of this.

Me, too.

One of many treasures I saw last Sunday. With a little work, it could be beautiful.

I didn't know Hornblowers closed! When did that happen?

Last fall.

Somebody else is supposedly in discussion to reopen it this year - if its not open already.

It seems like you and ColDayMan have nicknames for just about every building.

meh, scroll up a few posts to my last picture.

^I know...its just a funny nickname. Sort of like the 'swoosh building' (ColDayMan referring to The Ascent).

^ There is nothing wrong with this photo. This is how it’s been the past 5 days in South Florida. Wildfires burning hundreds of miles away in Northern FL have put a blanket of smoke across SF. Although it looks like dusk, this photo was taken about 3 PM.

Very nice! Even though I couldn't care less about those nuts from Cbus, its nice to see the influence (its kind of like a catch 22 though I guess).

^I like the warehouse district photo...the other park one seems a little too post-cardish for my tastes.

Ugh.... those two buildings in the warehouse district. Really, I love them. But I had to deal with the site behind them for my fall semester architecture project. After awhile you get sick of dealing with the same site. I had a lasercut model of those two buildings. There comes a time in every architecture student's life where you have throw some stuff out. So smashed the above two buildings. Take that!

Sorry about the series, Cleveland; 2 out of 3 ain't bad...for the Tigers' standings.

Great broken bat shot.

Here is a photo of a cute kid with Cincinnati's Mayor, Mark Mallory taken by NatiJoe during the Over-the-Rhine 5K run yesterday.

A picture from my political science text book:

edit: it's kinda hard to tell with the small pic, but there is no line pointing to Ohio, they simply messed up and put OH inside of the Indiana state lines.

Not a particularly great shot.

I was trying to get a picture of all of the birds hovering over the National City Bank Building chowing on the muffle-heads.

The time lapse made it look interesting - at least to me it did.

Musky, that looks like you shot it through a window a cat had rubbed up against !

Pretty cool.

^Hmmm, my cats would have loved to see those birds flying all over the place.

This is taken from the New Market Street Bridge

If you are interested, that is the page about the projects happening in the downtown area.

I'll post a full photo tour soon when I am finished with taking the photos..

Golden hay awaits harvesting along Kentucky Route 1910 near Berea, Kentucky.

This is my niece (I guess) at a Mudhens game just recently. I thought this was a pretty awesome pic...she's striking a pose with the city and field as the backdrop. Yeah!

So, you really are an uncle, eh?

Yes I am an uncle (my sister has a baby boy), but I am unsure what the relation would be if this is my cousin's daughter...any help?
