June 18, 201410 yr ^ the next time (or will it be the first time?) you go to the hot new restaurant Cherche Midi (because I know you go to these places! lol) at the corner of Houston & Bowery, walk down the block toward Prince, and you'll see this staircase. The door was open when I walked past and I almost went up, but I was afraid of what I would find.
