Posted December 3, 200618 yr Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C) recently announced that a new Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Library was to be built on the Metro Campus in downtown Cleveland (The Quadrangle). It would reside on E. 30th St. at Woodland Avenue. Not my favorite spot for this to be built, but nonetheless, another great addition to our city! I don't have any other info. so at the request of other members, any full articles or announcements available at this time?
December 6, 200618 yr Mostly it's going to be built at the location selected because there's not much land left that they can use on the Metro Campus, and it would then be nearly adjacent to the theater/arts building. I think the building will consist of studio space (for the Recording Arts program), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame archives/library, some performance space, and office space for the Performing Arts division. It's not going to be a big building, and architecturally, it will fit in with the rest of the campus, bland as it is, though it'll also have a notable nod to the Rock Hall, too.
September 3, 200816 yr The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame & Museum's Center for Creative Arts is coming along nicely. :-) https://www.instagram.com/cle_and_beyond/https://www.instagram.com/jbkaufer/

November 25, 200816 yr Yeah, it well comin along nicely, except for the fact that it's just a horrid square brick. :) I agree, it doesn't impress me at all!
November 26, 200816 yr At the Rock Hall pyramid is interesting, especially from the inside. "In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." -- John Steinbeck
November 27, 200816 yr Who cares what it looks like on the Tri-C campus. How will it help Cleveland, the RNRHOF? Will it provide jobs and leave a legacy? In this case, the content and the reason for the addition is more important than the design of the design of the building.
November 28, 200816 yr it would fit right in with typical bgsu campus buildings. :| ah well, what goes on inside is more important.
