I took the family downtown on Saturday to enjoy the downtown festivities, and to introduce my relatively new nephew to the city!  We had a GREAT time and downtown was packed all around Fountain Square.  There were extremely long lines for ice skating on the square, the train display, pictures with Santa at Tower Place, and carriage rides.

Here are some of the pics (excuse the poor picture quality..was not my camera, and I don't know what happened):

We hit up the train display first and my nephew LOVED it!

Now back to Fountain Square and we thought we would watch the ice skaters instead of waiting in the incredibly long line:

It had been a long, cold day and it was time to go home:

Cute kid! I like the fish too...that wasn't up last time I was down there.

nice pics.  i think someone mentioned this before but those trees dont look as mature as I thought they would!!

Aww...way, way too horribly cute...very nice!

Great to see the square so busy!

I don't know if you find this to be good or bad, but I think they are fine....if trees are too big they can become a public safety issue (decreased visibility).  I would like them to be a little larger, but not too much, by the way....the whole outing once again reminded me why I love Cincinnati sooooo much!!!

Rando we must have been on the square at the same time.  ColDay, NatiJoe & I also stopped by the train display.  Good times in the Queen City.

^Yeah I called Chris when you guys were down there, and it was to bad we couldn't meet up  :|  If I wasn't with the fam then I definately would have met you with the three of you!

Nice shots.

What the heck is the Kroger building doing in all that?!?

Nice pics, although I'm dazzled by downtown year round.

^Its a Cincinnati institution, and I presume that is why they included it.
