Posted December 14, 200618 yr Ok, A little background before I get to the questions. I am restoring an old cedar chest for my girlfriend’s parents. It was her grandfathers and has been in the family since 1940. It was one of only a couple of things they kept from him, which is sad in itself. It was in terrible shape when it got to me, and I have slowly been bring it back to life this past week. Well today I started in on the drawers. Ends up an old photograph, possible the grandfather as young 0-1 year old was stuck underneath the bottom for some time. The photo isn't in bad shape, but it isn't really in good shape either. I would like to have it professional restored and framed before Christmas...Is it even possible to do? If it is does anyone know ANYWHERE I could get this done… O, I live in Cleveland, Old Brooklyn...
December 15, 200618 yr I have done digital photo work and could give it a try. Can you scan it at 300 dpi and e-mail it to me? Rather than restore it, I might be able to print a digitally retouched copy, if that works for you. PM me.
