They live at my parents' house, but are technically my pets and come to visit sometimes.  Both are clean, quiet, cage-trained, and low-maintenance.  On the whole, they make good pets.

Here's my cats. Unfortunately the big fat one on the left passed away last year. Had him for 12 years. He was a great cat.

That puppy is so damn cute!  I'm a sucker for a cute puppy.

I want a dog but if I get one it will be one from the pound that I will prevent from being put to sleep. When I went with my mom to go shop for a dog, they were mostly all 1700 dollars and above and I thought it was pathetic (on the buyer's part and the store's part) when people were crying hysterically in the store after finding out they didn't qualify for financing.

This is the new pup I just adopted last weekend.

They're not really sure, I adopted him from a shelter in Clinton County (he has a brother and sister left there if you want one).  The my other way half weimaraner and half lab and they think the father was golden retriever.

 

I'm still not sure if he's as cute as mother other dog was when he was a puppy.

Like I'll ever pass up the chance to show off my step-pugs:

OMG... That is the cutest dog I think I have ever seen.  I am not a dog person at all but this cutie would make a definite exception.

 

Haha, Mayday, I love Pugs.  They crack me up all the time.  I remember I got a chance to hold a puppy teacup pug... One of the cutest things I have ever seen in my life.

3/5 Chloe realized that this is the place where she is going to get fed and petted and played with.  She morphed from the cat hiding under the bed to super-animated 18 month old.  She's a velcro cat.  Last Friday, she showed us that she can retrieve her "bird" toy so we can throw it again.  Her cough is gone, she just sneezes now.  We're having fun. 

Since I go to school far from home I don't get to see my aminals that often!  :cry:

Yeah, where was Buster playing with the squared off bedrock?  We were dog sitting a black-lab mix for a few months and he was the best.  Your Misty looks like my TC from 1964.

Where was that first picture taken TCJoe?  Very pretty.

 

That photo was taken about a half-mile up the river from my parent's home, where a little unnamed creek falls about 70 or 80 feet into the West Branch Huron River (it's right on the Erie/Huron County line).  About a mile upstream of here there is a public access point and a couple of miles downstream is the Milan State Wildlife Area); but most of this area is private property.

 

I was fortunate enough to have grown up in a naturally beautiful area.

So my dad told me that in his card for mother's day he wrote that we would go pick out a new kitten for my mom!!!
