Recently I finished up exploring all of the downriver cities that I haven't been to.  Wyandotte is easily the best.  North of downtown there are MANY beautiful homes that I didn't get pictures of but I will sometime when I go back.  I will also be getting pictures of Ecorse when I go back.  Wyandotte has a population of about 28,000.

Wyandotte suffers from being painted with the "Downriver" brush (Lincoln Park, Southgate, etc), but it's really got a lot going for it, as you've shown here. Thanks again Zach. You ARE da man.

Looks quite nice, with ongoing investment in the downtown.

i like saying it the old school way

One of my favorite metro Detroit cities...too bad it is too far from any interstate highways or I'd consider living there.

There is a lot of old blue collar money (you know, the kind under mattresses or buried in the backyard) in Wyandotte.  It's a nice little self-contained community....if you aren't from there, you can feel like an outsider big time.  Very clique.

Great views of the River too.

I do like Wyandotte as well.  The Ile down the way ain't too bad either...
