Posted January 4, 200718 yr Point Breeze is located in Pittsburgh's East End. It lies directly south of Homewood, on the other side of the former main line of the Pennsylvania Railroad. Prior to WW2, Point Breeze was considered part of Homewood. With the decline of the section of Homewood located north of the tracks, the area south of the tracks divorced itself from Homewood and took a separate identity. Point Breeze is divided into two sections. North Point Breeze lies between the tracks, and Penn Avenue to the south. South Point Breeze lies between Penn Avenue and Homewood Cemetary. South Point Breeze is very nice. North Point Breeze is great in some spots, but a bit rundown in others. North Point Breeze. South Point Breeze.

January 6, 200718 yr Nice... classic old hood... Steelers aside (egad!), Pittsburgh has some of the most beautiful neighborhood architecture in the nation... a few of those old walkups looked like those in Cleveland.
January 7, 200718 yr I like the looks of that area; it seems like the kind of place I'd be very happy to live.
