Posted January 16, 200718 yr From the 12/13/07 Times-Reporter: Bolivar plant closes Best In Plastics idles about 120 workers By LEE MORRISON, T-R Business Editor BOLIVAR – Employees and customers are among those wondering what happened with the abrupt closing of Best In Plastics Inc., also known as BIPCO. Workers were sent home Monday by 7:30 a.m. or were turned away when they reported to work for later shifts. BIPCO manufactures a variety of blow molded products, such as orange highway construction safety drums and cones, fuel tanks, garden watering cans and disposal containers, at 10955 Industrial Pkwy. in the Lawrence Township Industrial Park, just south of Bolivar. A firm number was not available, but it is believed that at least 120 jobs are involved with the shutdown. The number of jobs was 150 in 2003, according to the Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce...
