What's up with that lit-up Cincinnati sign?! :-)

So, what are your opinions on the places you visited?  I did the exact same trip you did about 4 months ago and I absolutely fell in love with Toronto.  The strength of the business district, charm of the inner-city neighborhoods, and ease of the public transit were all big reasons why.  Not to mention the fact that the majority of the people I met there were very friendly.

Niagara Falls is really cool in terms of the waterfall, but I thought the town itself is a bit silly.  It's sooo touristy and very pricey.

Toronto!

Perhaps "cheesy" best describes it. No question of the beauty of the falls.

Nice shots...Those Toronto residential high rises sure would look nice in downtown Cleveland esp along the lake or river downtown.  I'd settle for just one of them at the moment... we can only dream....

Niagara falls (the city) looks frantic.

I live just over 4 hours from Toronto.  I really need to get there soon.  I think the last time I was there was about 6 or 7 years ago.

Toronto is awesome.  With all the high rise residential happening on the fringe of downtown, it's turning into Vancouver on steroids.

Neat photos!

Yeah, the town on the Canadian side is pretty touristy, but the last time I was there it was lots better than Niagara Falls, NY. That was pretty desolate, almost post-apocalyptic looking.

I think Toronto is one of the best cities in North America.

I had a good time in all three cities.  The initial plan was to stop by Niagara Falls for a few hours on Friday night and then during the day on Sunday on the trip back.  But once we got there on Friday, we just decided to stay there for the night and head out to Toronto in the morning.  Niagara Falls it's self is very touristy.  Everyone knows that and expects it though.  The casino there was very nice and took $10 from me in no time.

As you have already said, Toronto is amazing!  There is so much going on.  We stayed at the Marriot on Yonge St., on the 14th floor with the perfect view and a balcony.  There were people everywhere and it was very rare to see a store-front empty.  I rode the subway down to the central station...(forgot to post the pics, will add them soon).  Went up the CN Tower, and pretty much did all the touristy stuff, trying to soak everything in.  I can't wait to go back soon.

Rich great shots...especially Toronto- I also try to stay at that Marriot on College and Yonge. If only ALL Ohio cities could have as much vibrancy and street life and construction and.....as TO.

^ Yes, and a city proper population of 2.5 million and a metro of 5.9.
