January 21, 200718 yr Beautiful shots! I gotta get out there someday soon. How old are these photos? I'm trying to place it based on the cars I can see and I'm guessing '94-'96 maybe? Oh, and why aren't you a big fan of SF?
January 21, 200718 yr cc sadly what happened is that we had to put our beloved 19y.o. cat to sleep just before this new years (r.i.p. riley -- that old cat came along to my wife long before i did!; btw he was born at 8th & hunter by osu in '88) so anyway because of that we have been digging through the photos lately -- so these pics are more old scans and they were a mess -- yes, that was mostly a '96 trip, but i know the polaroids were a more recent trip. i have some more stuff too i am trying to get to scanned. as for sf, i dont particularly like sf because, well partly because i'm not a big cali fan in general, but as for sf...well did you ever see that southpark episode about the hybrid cars? that's it - heh: http://www.southparkstudios.com/show/display_episode.php?season=10&id1=1002&id2=145 no question sf is quite a beautiful city tho and everybody should get out there for a visit to see it. after that get around the bay and up and down the coast, i like all that even better.
January 21, 200718 yr cool pics mrnyc. i'm not a big west coast kind of guy myself, but i love sf and plan to head back there after graduation. i always wanted to end up in NYC, but after living there for a while, I fell in love with the place and found that it offered everything I look for in a city. i found this interesting: look how the trees have grown.
January 22, 200718 yr as for sf, i dont particularly like sf because, well partly because i'm not a big cali fan in general, but as for sf...well did you ever see that southpark episode about the hybrid cars? that's it - heh: Yes, I've seen that episode. If everyone I ever ran into was that smug, well, (insert smiley vomiting here). Also, very sorry to hear about your cat.
January 22, 200718 yr how cool cinyc -- what a find -- is that your pic? what year is that one from? i love then and now comparison pics like this. cc thank you about riley. it is making me go thru and scan the photo archives. also, don't get me wrong, i think everyone should visit sf, no it's not for me, but it's a great city and an easy one to visit and hang around and have fun in too.
January 23, 200718 yr yeah, that was just a random pic I took while waiting for the bus on 18th St. I'm pretty sure that was in October, just a few months ago. A lot has changed, but then again, it's very similar. I'd be curious to see some shots of Valencia St. in that area from your visit, I'm sure that's changed quite a bit.
January 23, 200718 yr Great stuff! V. Sattui much be one of the more popular wineries; I went to a wedding there a couple years back and everytime I see anything Napa/Wine Country, that name comes up.
