I'm gonna say Minneapolis.

Clearly European.  No clue which endless city in Europe.

looks too small to be minneapolis.  doesnt even really look like much of a downtown.  maybe its a bad angle.  i dunno though.

It's definately not Minneapolis.

The strange, taller, hideous commie-block like towers almost give it a dead giveaway that it's in Europe (or perhaps Asia).  Definately not in the United States, unless it's Saskatoon or something (which I highly doubt).

Actually it looks like it's somewhere in Canada.  Some place with the typical bland apartment highrise buildings that seem to proliferate the suburban Canadian landscapes outside their major cities.

A real car ...

You won't see these people this close to the street with a Mazda 6 ;) ...

You could probably get the A4 for less than the Mazda 6 too.

I think it's in Russia, maybe even Siberia.  So those commie-style block buildings may indeed be commie buildings.

In the video, you can see the front license plate is international/European in shape.  The tag says Mazda 6 MPS, and it would say Mazda Speed6 if it was a North American car.  At 0:49 in the video you can see the lettering on the hood of the black car to read Major, with a phone number 703 80 04, which is in the style of an international number.  Lastly, there is a website on the hood, which reads www.major-auto.ru (couldn't make out the next to last letter).  It wouldn't be .au because the car is left-drive, so I tried .ru for Russia and got a website for a dealership in Russia that sells a ton of brands including Ford, Skoda, Alfa Romeo, and Mazda.

Ok the part where the Quattro is driving up a 37 degree ski jump was freaking awesome.

This is very true...nerdiness at an all-time high!

Is it time to start a discussion of snow tires?  I am driving on the Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50 "deep snow" tyres (in a manner of speaking).

It's probably somewhere in the Sapporo burbs.

The random glass didn't look Russian to me.

looks like Toledo

... But I didn't see any high rises?
