February 19, 200718 yr One of my best friends offers to drive me, i'm like no, I like the architecture in Corryville. He'll walk 10 minutes to get his car out of the parking garage just to go to Dubois bookstore or Chipotle. He's from Loveland though, you know that goes.

That's amazing....it sounds like it's a pain to just get to his car! Before I moved downtown, I had a monthly parking spot in a garage. Of course, I gave it up when I moved five blocks from where I work. You'd be amazed by how many people ask me if I still have that pass and if I drive to work. Umm, why would I pay for a monthly pass when I'm walking? By the time I got into my car and drove it out of the garage in my residential building, I would be halfway to work from walking! NOt to mention time looking for a parking space.
February 19, 200718 yr Makes a lot of sense. If I worked downtown I would definitely try to live downtown. I'd rather pay for convenience and culture than the "all about me" lifestyle. Plus, One Lytle Place or some loft style apt with big windows would be so cool to live in. *drools*.
