It's LA with even more Hispanics!!!

Nice colorful looking city. I like the lake in that park with the buildings in the background.

^ Yeah, some of those look like they are straight out of LA

The word "Hispanics" makes my skin crawl.  Latin is a better term to use.

........that's all

I was actually expecting a lot more towers, but this surprised me.  Quite a few smaller homes and apartments in these photos.  Nice!

^^ They also speak Portuguese, not spanish.

Nice shots!

It reminded me of parts of Puerto Vallarta. Interesting contrasts.

Welcome!

nice job & welcome.

i thought about visiting here, but didnt make it. reminds me of the wealthier suburban style parts of mexican cities, but not los angeles at all, despite a few familiar-to-the-usa "outer loop" style buildings.

more surprising to me is that it didn't remind me of rio or sao paulo at all either -- of course they are much bigger and much different kinds of cities.

btw brazilian folks are not hispanic...they are totally brazilian! its a big mix of portugese, native, & african...but not hispanic or spanish or whatev. also language-wise, down there the polite thing to do is to speak brazilian portugese or english, but definately not espanol. brazil is certainly surrounded by spanish speaking countries, but they are not that at all.

Thank you!

Thats a nice looking bus stop!  Combined with a narrow street, landscaped median, and a pedestrian crossing (with safe haven)!!!  Some places just have their crap together!

that looks nice.  this looks like the burbs or a small town.

Try riding public transportation in Rio or Sao Paulo..........its not cute

Strangely comfortable.
