great pictures. It's been many years since I've been on the SI ferry. The new terminal looks amazing. I'll have to check it out, but it won't seem the same without the dim lighting and grimy institutional green walls (but apparently the new facility is not without flaws: a news story last night reported on escalators broken for two weeks now, forcing commuters to *gasp!* climb stairs!).

the ferry (not to be confused with fairy) is really nice.  The old station was a hot mess.  Ive been to SI twice and both time it was to ride the fairy on a lazy hot Sunday.  I don't recall if I actually "set foot" on SI though.

 

It looks like the DOT can't keep flying rats out of the new station either.
