Driving to work this morning a vertical row of flashing white lights popped out at me. Did Cincinnati get a new tower, or perhaps new lights on an existing one? It appeared to be in the area of Clifton Heights.

 

    On the other hand maybe I'm crazy. I don't remember seeing them before.

 

 

Maybe we're both crazy, but I noticed the same thing last night.

Uhhh..no new tower has gone up recently in that area.  At least none that would be visible.  Has to be some kind of decorative lighting that was put up.

I noticed the lights too.  This morning the lights were much less noticeable.  Must have been some sort of industrial strength dimmer that was not working properly.

 

    I have been paying attention to these lights and found that sometimes they are on in the morning and sometimes they are not. The tower is located around Fairview Heights.

 

    Not that this is important or anything but just interesting.  :?

I know exactly what it is. No, It's not a new tower. For the last few days the big cell tower in clifton (end of rohs by fairview school) has been in

"strobe" mode. I have know idea why its flashing like this. The other two towers visable from my window (identical) are not flashing like this one. I have seen it in strobe mode before, but it has always been during bad weather when the tower is obscured by clouds or fog. The last few mornings have been relativly clear.
