Posted March 25, 200718 yr So most tourists when they visit the Hollywood neighborhood of LA strictly stick to Hollywood Blvd. That's fine and good, but I met with some fellow SSP forumers and they showed me parts of Hollywood I didn't know existed! Feast your eyes on Hollywood, North of the Blvd. On the way to Hollywood I pass by a beauty in Beverly Hills. Approaching construction at Sunset & Vine A couple from Hollywood Blvd. The Magic Castle, North of Hollywood & Highland. POLA said that this is where magicians go to share secrets. You have to have a password to get in. A nice park... Homes in the Hollywood Hills Time to start ascending the hills Then, we happen upon a secluded neighborhood, Hightower. The residents literally take an elevator up the tower pictured below to access their homes. We took the tough route... the stairs. POLA breaks things down for Infestma Infernal Marine Layer! I spy downtown A smattering of bamboo My fiance checks a "storybook home" for hobbits Time to descend back into the basin Yep, definately Hollywood Some recent Hollywood development on Sunset The fabulous Cineramadome On the way back home we pass by... Century City looms in the distance BH gets fountains because they are cooler than everyone else Century City gets closer Religion, LA style Adios, from La-La Land.

March 25, 200718 yr the Hills is to much for me. I always get lost on those streets that just dead end to nowhere. The people who do 100 MPH in reverse out of their hidden driveways are the worst. I'm surprised there are not more accidents.

March 27, 200718 yr Awesome photos and awesome houses! I wish I would have actually gotten out and seen the houses closer up last time I was there. You really captured a lot of them well.
