Whither the World of Rubber museum?

Not to mention the Goodyear Theater, gymnasium and more inside Goodyear Hall on East Market Street. All have played big parts in Akron's history, but now the aging building and Goodyear headquarters across the street could be redeveloped in upcoming years.

Considering Akron's size, it's a wonder that they don't have very many sports options. If they ever want to get anything like minor league hockey, arena football, etc., perhaps the gym portion of Goodyear Hall could be put to use?
