Sure it is a common shot, but the sky behind is just so blue and vibrant, it really brings her out well!

As I stated on SSP, this is one of my favorite all time shots of Cincy.  Superb.

Love all teh fountain ones.  I love it with the flower carpet in the foreground.  Wish the cranes were out of there and everything was done!

Great shots Monte!  My own Floral Carpet Photos were mentioned in another thread, but here's the overhead for completeness. I hope to get out there in the evening this weekend to get some nice night shots.  I really like your first one here (even though it doesn't include any of the flowers).  The cleanup of the bottom of the pool really improves things - glad they did that.

Maybe I'm way off but did you use the unsharp mask in Photoshop on this at all?

Ah this makes me want to go look at the flowers on the square right now! But overall what a great day to be taking pictures it really makes for stunning colors. I am still in awe of the green of the grass out by Paul Brown
