From what I can tell, that rendering in the background is placed approximately where there are currently hangars at now. I'm fairly positive that it had nothing to do with this proposal for the terminal. Also, I don't think that building could be built at that height at that location due to FAA regulations. I could be wrong though.

March 18, 20214 yr Wetterich wrote another article about it, this time with more quotes from the developer. He mentions that a new structure will be built to the south of the current terminal. It's not clear if that's referring to the hotel itself or a new building to house the displaced companies and flight operations. FEMA, FAA, and US ACE will all have to give approval to the plan in addition to the City.

June 7, 20214 yr Ultimate Air’s parent company, Hard Rock launch flights to gambling mecca The parent company of Ultimate Air Shuttle, which operates nonstop, business-focused flights to regional destinations out of Lunken Airport, is teaming up with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to offer a new nonstop service to Atlantic City. Hard Rock and Ultimate Jetcharters will offer weekend flights on Hard Rock Air catering to high-end customers from Cincinnati starting July 16. The companies will use Ultimate Jetcharters’ 30-seat, Dornier 328 aircraft. The flights generally leave on Fridays and return on Sunday, according to Ultimate Jetcharters.
