Ok... we did Economic Areas before... which I referenced specifically for measuring the economic validity for major league sports franchises... since a market extends beyond an MSA...

 

but now... let's break it down to individual MSAs... 2005 numbers

if you take Cleveland-Akron it is almost dead equal with Cincinnati-Dayton

I have to admit... I was suprised to see that Cleveland's MSA has a higher Per Capita Personal Income than Metro Cincy.  Especially since Cleveland's Economic Area PCPI was so low... I guess it was really dragged down by the inclusion of Canton and Youngstown.

if you take Cleveland-Akron it is almost dead equal with Cincinnati-Dayton

 

its not really fair to do that distance-wise.

It's not that far really.Heck i can drive to the Airport in KY but be in Dayton first.
