NW 6th & Walnut Block: former Maisonette, La Normandie, Bella, Barleycorns, Uno's, Gibson lofts, Phenoix bar is closing, space next to Roma in metrople, french empire style building at 6th & Main

 

Fourth & Vine block: former Dressbarn, 18 East Fourth sits vacant, Paula's cafe closing, McAlpin spaces sit empty + building next door (former Frisch's)

 

What is replacing Walgreen's in mercantile arcade?

 

 

Former Maisonette:  I haven't heard anything about this space yet

La Normandie:  This is most likely a packaged deal w/the Maisonette space

 

Bella:  I think I have heard of something, but can't remember any name right now...don't expect this space to sit for long

 

Uno's: This has been announced to become the new 'Bootsy Ruby's' themed restaurant

McAlpin Spaces:  no word yet...these things are typically kept hush, hush; but Friday's has mentioned that they will be opening up across the street.  Someone later posted that they heard 4th and Race.

As for the other spaces...I'm sure that some stuff is in the works, and really its a crapshoot.  It all is up in the air in this rapidly transforming corridor (4th Street).

The owners of Boca were looking at the Bella location.

 

The McAlpin has the frame shop going in one of the spaces, and the developer mentioned when we closed on our condo that a Caribou's coffee or a Starbucks would occupy another space even though there is already a Starbucks directly across the street.

 

The former Bella space will be changing over soon. Hence tomorrow's auction of the furnishings and equipment.

Gibson Lofts is across from Aronoff next to Pheonix. Havn't been able to lease their street retail for over 2 years.

 

What else is going in 580 besides Oceanaire? Which building in OTR Duncunson Lofts is the next Jean Robert project?
