There is also a Dave's grocery store in Chinatown on the east side of downtown on Payne Avenue. Speaking of which, there are also a couple of Chinese grocery stores along Payne that are worth visiting if for no other reason than the cultural experience. But I do like their wide varieties of seafood, cookies and where else can you buy bags of rice that are the size of sandbags? And, while Constantino's on West 9th in the Warehouse District downtown is a very small grocery store, I find their prepared foods (entrees, sandwiches, pastries, cookies etc) to be outstanding. They also have wine tastings from local vineyards there on occasion.

A good dentist, my dentist, and the dentist of most of my co-workers is Dr. Rosenblitt.  He is located in the Cleveland Athletic Club building - not the club itself, but the office building next door called the CAC Building.  I've been going to him since i moved back to Cleveland 3 years ago.  His number is 216.781.2444.

I haven't had any major work done by him besides general cleaning and a few caviities filled...

For the past several years I've gone to the Clinic for dental care - few people other than their employees realize they have a dental practice as well - it's at desk A-70 (7th floor of the A "pyramid" building).  My dentist recently left, and I have only seen Dr Coy once, but he did fine.  There are about a half dozen dentists in that office.  CCF dentists are salaried and have no incentive to order extra work like some dentists.  I'm a little paranoid about being "over-treated" because I once went to a dentist in North Canton who wanted me to spend over $8000 on veneers, crowns, etc. to get the "perfect smile".

Dave's it is then.  Sounds like an all around consensus there.

MyTwoSense - As far as the reference and transfer of records, that should not be a problem.  However, since I'm not too happy with the previous dentist's work, I'd rather not have him steer me to someone else.  Would you recommend your dentist?

yes, but the way my dentist works is via medical referral.  so your original doctor would have to refer you to to the CC.

Now the bad news my dentist doesnt take new patients.  I've been going to him since I was 8.  I'll see if I can get the name of the person he sends patients to at University Hospital.

Would anyone else care to share any more dentist recommendations?
