May 8, 200718 yr I'm sure that some of us can come up with some kick a$$ streets and neighborhoods in Ohio for this program. I challenge everyone to come up with some quality suggestions and get a place from Ohio on the list.
May 9, 200718 yr I think this is a great idea. I can put one in for Little Italy and may be even Hessler/University Circle? (how big is a neighborhood considered?)
May 9, 200718 yr High Street in Columbus comes to mind immediately, for the state. The vibrancy, urbanity, randomness, diversity, and transition of the street is rather unique in this state on a grand scale. Smaller, yet fanstastic streets in Ohio as well are Ludlow in Cincinnati, Hamilton in Cincinnati, Neil Avenue in Columbus, Lorain Avenue in Cleveland, Fifth Street in Dayton, Vine Street in Cincinnati, St. Gregory in Cincinnati, Detroit Avenue in Cleveland, and Shaker Boulevard in Shaker Heights/Cleveland. May 9, 200718 yr For Cleveland I would say (no particular order): 1. Tremont 2. Ohio City 3. Little Italy 4. Shaker Square 5. University Circle 6. W. 6th/Warehouse District (Make sure to include Lebron James and Usher are residents!) 7. E. 4th 8. Stonebridge? 9. Something on the Shoreway (you Westsiders would know better) You never know what they are looking for, so it would be a good idea to submit all of these, if not more. Like I said before, I will submit Little Italy and University Circle (Maybe I'll raise the population of the area if it cracks the top ten...?).
May 10, 200718 yr ^^Where exactly on Detroit or Lorain? Well, Detroit through Lakewood is quite interesting and Lorain through that "antique" area is an interseting contrast to the Puerto Rican/Mexican businesses. May 14, 200718 yr One more day to submit Ohio neighborhoods. Let's try and get something on the top ten list.
