If you look at a map of a city you will notice that it has a normal, orderly form in its core and then further out you see these disorganized masses of growth that suck life from the city much like cancer does from its host and continues to grow and grow without any end in sight. Just couldn't help but make that connection.

Not everyone in the subburbs, not even close, lived in the city.
