This is my first thread in over a year.  Today probably wasn't the best day to take pics due to the overcast weather, but who cares.  These were taken all over the city: North Side, South Side, West End, Downtown, and plenty of places in between.  Hope you enjoy because I miss this shit!

I love the people pics mixed in.

What's with this street?

I loved the city tour! Definitely a great set, not focusing on the ruin and abandonments (as much as I would be drooling over those too).

Thanks for posting those; I always enjoy your photo sets. Not many photographers get the people shots like you do.

I like it. Nice pics.

That St. Louis Bread Co. is obviously a complete ripoff of Panera (or a new Panera marketing scheme?)

^lol, not quite.  Panera's world headquarters are in St. Louis and the chain was originally called the St. Louis Bread Company nationwide.  St. Louis is the only market where the name was never changed to Panera.  It's the same company.

Nice interesting set.

No one shoots people like Jive.

Great stuff.

Loving it...especially the pics from the rail transit!

excellent work and yeah always great with the people, i love that...i aspire to do that.

much of the pics remind me of columbus.

ps -- i think it was called st. louis bread company in ohio and other places too before they changed to panera. i think there was an early one in the columbus area, maybe westerville? not sure.

Great pics, Jive!

Why wouldn't they just leave the name "St. Louis Bread Co.", like many other businesses do?

Panera sounds more upscale, probably. I don't like eating there because the portions are tiny.

Great pics, Jive!

When I was initially trained for the company they informed us that they didn't want to "regionalize" themselves.  A name is everything...if your name has negative connotations then it can hurt your business.  I think it's a smart move not to have a regional name if you are in markets outside of that market.  How well would a Boston Pizza Co. do in NYC for example.
