Just what the title suggests. Place any videos you might find on YouTube or other video hosting sites here.

For those who are still struggling to learn how to embed the videos directly in the post, here's your clue.

This is the video url:

This is the video code:

1_K0YbKo_38

Click on this thing above the posting box:

"youtube=425,350][/youtube"

Put the code (not the url) inside the brackets:

"youtube=425,350]1_K0YbKo_38[/youtube"

(I removed the outside brackets for demonstration purposes - do not put the quote marks in.

And here is your first video.

From an former CSU student

That's great !

that hipster nerd is awesome! I want more!

that was done very well

I like the presenter, not really sold on the camera man though.  He had a hard time keeping up and he kept shaking the camera.

Overall well done.  Is that you musky?

This is my brother's tour of Ft. Sanders, a historic neighborhood in Knoxville.  He made this about four years ago before youtube and I think it aired on public access a few times:

A low tech but interesting story on the founding of Ohio University:

And this is my half-ass showing of what's become of OU:

Nope. Not me.

I'm not that animated.

Here are the videos from jmecklenborg - just in case you are not motivated enough, like me, to click through.

(This one is not Ohio related, but I'll be fair)

^ Damn... that was awesome.

Here was my second attempt to put my photos to music.  I used Apple iMovie to make it but I was never satisfied with the compressed version of the video.  It is titled,  "Cincinnati 2006".

Finally got around to watching the Etch-a-Sketch guy drawing LeBron. Um. WOW!

This music video may bring back a few memories.

LOL 80s videos.

I would have liked a stronger finish, but an improvement over your last edition.

I think this is a pretty wild and amazing Cleveland one

Wow.. The music made my ears bleed, but the video makes Cleveland look better that Disney Land for kids. Great find.

Grassroots Great Dayton has about a dozen videos (mostly sprawl and streetcars videos) on its YouTube page that may be of interest to people on here.  I'm not going to embed all the videos, but they are available here.

Has anyone noticed that Realty One has sponsored a ton of internet videos produced by Turnhere featuring Ohio communities?

I just watched the Michael Stanley video.  I didn't know that he was the one who bought the vacant Powerhouse and rehabbed it!  Way to go MS!  Makes up for you mediocre take on blue collar rock!

That's a great video, and I didn't think the music was too bad. It's just hebrew set to rock....

I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet... or has it?

I'm pretty sure I hate that WKRP intro.

This is a picture video I made a while back just to have something to put on you tube. You may recognize alot of the pictures from Urban Ohio 'Thanks Urban Ohio Forumers', But I did take some of them myself. Its obviously low quality to fit on you tube but its about Cincinnati so it has to be great, Right?!

Okay, stupid question - I have a movie of the Arcade that I saved using QuickTime Pro in a portrait (vertical) format, but YouTube only displays in landscape (horizontal)- right? If so, I guess I'll just shrink it so it fits a horizontal format but given the layout of the Arcade, I wish it would display vertically. Any suggestions?

^^ I love that song (edmund fitzgerald) by gordon lightfoot.

I can't believe I just listened to ZZ Top. I love blues-rock but they're just obnoxious.

I think this is my favorite Cleveland video ever:

Wonder if the CVB has this?

Its a good general purpose video.

Why do we only market the warehouse district, Ohio City and Tremont?  Can we get a lil love in Shaker Square (yes, I said SHAKER SQUARE) or Edgewater, Cleveland most dense areas.  One of the young ladies touched on the "ethnic" neighborhoods but they didn't show any.  No Slavic Village, Collinwood, Asian Village, Etc.

I would have liked to see a black woman, a latin man/woman, an Asian man/woman, some out gays/lesbians and some kids!

Now exactly what constitutes an out gay on TV? Lots of dramatic shoulder and "jazz hands"?

Lord!

Does it bother you when they keep referencing Cleveland as a "town" as if it hasn't made it into "city" status yet? ... because I hate that. For some reason people feel the need to compare Cincy to NYC or Chicago, wtf?

I did notice the relative whiteness of the interviewees.  Showing more diversity would be a big plus.

I also agree about the need to market our other very attractive neighborhoods (and to add to your list, why not Westpark for families?  They could talk about the strength of the schools there, for one.)  Honestly, though, I was just happy that I didn't see anyone talking about living in Independence or Avon Lake.  Everyone was talking about the city, and all of the shots were of the city, which I appreciated.

Now exactly what constitutes an out gay on TV? Lots of dramatic shoulder and "jazz hands"?

I laughed when I read that.     What came to my mind, though, was having a few couples talk about how they love their communities and how comfortable they feel living in such and such a neighborhood.

I personally don't take it like that.  I think people use "town" as an affectionate diminutive, and I hear NYC and Chicago referred to as "towns," too, so I don't sweat it.

Wow .. that was really great! Really beautifully shot and exciting to watch. What I love about it is that it makes me want to move back there. Wonder who gets to see this?

Sidenote: I'm a HUGE fan of 30Rock. One of the best shows on TV right now, in my opinion. Hilarious, and I LOVED seeing Cleveland on the show, even though it was a bit tongue-in-cheek.
