Posted June 18, 200717 yr this thread is largely devoted to "people shots" and street scenes collected from the South Side on a Tuesday evening in May... and the Strip District on a Saturday morning last month when Rob from Ft. Wayne came to visit first let's take a stroll along the South Side's East Carson St. a favourite venue of mine nice headband ... now let's head over to the Strip District heading downtown to meet with Rob and mrherodotus (chucka would arrive post-Strip) best biscotti ever... even inspired a movie... "The Bread, My Sweet" starring Scott Baio guess she had to scratch her nose at the very moment i snapped a pic... bah an eclectic mix The Bank of New York tower :(

June 19, 200717 yr I WAS IN PITTSBURGH EARLIER TODAY AFTER A WEEKEND VISITING FAMILY IN YOUNGSTOWN... PITTSBURGH PLEASENTLY SURPRISED ME I WENT TO STATION SQUARE, ALL OVER DOWNTOWN, THE INCLINE, JUST DUCKY TOUR, & PITTSBURGH SHOWED ME HOW THEY DID SUCH A GOOD JOB MAKING DO WITH WHAT HAVE. I THINK CITIES LIKE CLEVELAND CAN LEARN A LOT FROM PITTSBURGH. DOWNTOWN PITT. LOOK LIKE DOWNTOWN CLEV. WHEN A CONVENTION IS IN TOWN. DOWNTOWN PITT. JUS SEEMS TO ME AS MUCH MORE COHESIVE. HOPEFULLY THE AVE. DIS. PROJ., FLATS E. BANK, STARKS WAREHOUSE DIS., WILL HELP CLEVELAND MOVE FORWARD. BUT ANYWAYS GREAT PICS NICE WAY OF CAPTURING THE FEELING OF PITT.

I want to travel there just to laugh at that. Because I have nothing else to do but make stupid comments. I love the photographs, and a great take on what seemed like a festive scene!
