yeah, from what I hear, Sudan is pretty much ok if you live in the large cities.

In Iraq, the only stable place seems to be in the Kurdish controlled area and it seems kinda militarized.

Iraq has certainly fallen the hardest and fastest of the places listed.

Haiti has pretty much sucked since day 1. The fact that it is still with us at all shows a level of perseverance and dedication to the society.

Or maybe it is just being stuck on an island.

I am suprised somalia didn't win, they haven't had a functioning gov't since 1991.

Very true, but at least they are trending (however slowly) towards stability at this point.
