Posted June 21, 200717 yr Last Friday was the first Happy Hour Cruise of the Season. The Ohio Planning Conference had its second annual Planners on the Cuyahoga cruise. Here are the photos (but not of any planners): Land in need of a use... For you rail buffs - you know who you are... Good-bye Fagans I really like this one... I like this one, too... This turned out nice - a little grainy, but nice... Missed the centered perspective shot - stupid margaritas... With all the grain showing in this picture, you'd think I could brew up some surplus fuel... Lovely couple... What is it with boat people and waving "hi"? I think I got most of the towers in this one - if only I were 100 feet higher... I thought that said"PIMP," at first... Can you see the haze? Can you spot the planners?
June 21, 200717 yr Beautiful shots! Looks like a pleasant way to spend an evening. In the shot of the Lorain-Carnegie Viaduct (Bob Hope Memorial Bridge), you can see the lower deck that was provided for future streetcar use, but never used. It has room for four tracks.

June 22, 200717 yr Cool pics! Makes me want to check out the Goodtime actually.. I checked out the website -- was this a "Public Rush Hour - Happy Hour Cruise" (on Fridays from 6 - 8)? Does anybody know how packed they are generally?
June 22, 200717 yr unless it is a special event they are not overly crowded but the turn out is always good. The crowd is kind of a diverse cross section of the area and sorta cheesy sometimes too b/c they have a dj and people dance below deck to 80's music. It is really great being out on the water and seeing how beautiful the city is. We try to go a few times a season. Its cheaper than buying a boat and really is a good time!! My tip is to run to the bar (if you are going to have a refreshment) right when you get on b/c the lines are bad at shove time and you don't want to miss anything.
