Posted June 22, 200717 yr Here is the first version of the column...an introduction of sorts. A 'Cincitecture' Manifesto of Sorts June 20, 2007 | CITY BEAT This might sound a bit masochistic, but one of the things I like about being a native Cincinnatian is the reaction I get when I tell people that this is my hometown. I fully admit to having an atrocious memory, but I honestly cannot recall ever having received a positive reaction to this revelation. OK, maybe once or twice, but in the great majority of cases reactions usually go a little something like this: For more information, click above link.
June 22, 200717 yr By focusing on a different architectural monument or structure each month, Cincitecture will aim to get people to have a more dynamic, engaging interaction with their environment... ...I probably won’t be focusing on our more “monumental” structures. Seems like she is not quite sure of her aim here. I would prefer she discuss current designs and urban design issues rather than presenting different historic buildings each week. But I'll take what I can get.
