This is probably one of my favorite threads I've ever done, as I had a lot of fun just driving this beautiful region. Oh, and this certainly isn't for the 56k friends, sorry. And a preview of San Francisco before the big thread...(and don't worry Oakland, you'll get a thread too). Till next week... June 22, 200717 yr Is it wrong that the best photo thread on urbanohio doesn't contain a single shot of Ohio? Chris, feel free to quit your dayjob. These pics are insane.
June 22, 200717 yr ^ I thought the same thing. These are amazing Chris! I can't get over how well ALL of them turned out. I'm ready to pack my bags.
June 22, 200717 yr That stretch of the world has always been my favorite place. Probably been there 10 times, but it's never enough.
June 22, 200717 yr great work. wow. there is more of the same on the ride north of sf too on 101. whoever takes interstate 5 is out of their mind, no one should ever be in that big of a hurry when you could have views like that along the way. i highly rec everyone should do this coastal cali driving at least once in your life, its just stunning. hey we have some former daytonian / c-j alum friends who live in half moon bay, just south of sf, which you prob drove thru. bring on more bay area!
June 22, 200717 yr Hey Colday... if you like Cali so much why don't you just move there, eh?! (Hint hint)
June 22, 200717 yr I remember driving the length the the PCH from San Fran to LA. Most beautiful stretch of highway ever. Carmel was the best!
June 23, 200717 yr Hey Colday... if you like Cali so much why don't you just move there, eh?! (Hint hint) My grandma lives there so it basically is a second home. But move? Me? California? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! They don't even have real soul food! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
June 23, 200717 yr Probably the best photo spread I've ever seen on SF. Your photos make my coffee table pictorial of SF look pretty weak. You were only about 6 blocks from my house in some of the twin peaks shots (as the crow flies, not as the car drives). When I saw the first photo in the series I suddenly remembered why I live here. It is worth the aggravation, high prices, crowded transportation and high rent. The shot of One Rincon from the Bay Bridge is fantastic. Our little city by the bay is undergoing huge changes right now.
June 26, 200717 yr    Excellent pics!! Next time i go back to San Fran, a trip on the PCH is in order!! https://www.instagram.com/cle_and_beyond/https://www.instagram.com/jbkaufer/
