Posted June 23, 200717 yr I remember reading an article about Upper Sandusky in the DDN around 2002; I can't really remember what the article said, but I remember that it left me wanting to see the city. Five years later, I found Upper Sandusky extremely pleasant. Oh yeah, US has a great courthouse

June 25, 200717 yr ^ What, no cheesecake? It seems most of the smaller Ohio cities have impressive courthouses. Good stuff, thanks.
June 25, 200717 yr Thanks for sharing. It looks like a nice enough place. I've been by Upper Sandusky a number of times, but I don't think I've actually been downtown.
June 30, 200717 yr quite distinctive! Really? What is so distinctive about this town? The CH is OK, but the rest of the streetscapes look the EXACT same as most cities in OH that are the same size.
June 30, 200717 yr i'm sorry, i just can't get over that upper sandusky is geographically below sandusky. gives me a headache.
June 30, 200717 yr ...but it's on the upper part of the Sandusky River, which flows north into Lake Erie. (in other words, its up river from Sandusky) At least that's the explanation I've heard for why Upper Sandusky is "below" Sandusky.
June 30, 200717 yr ^ yeah i know, but i dont trust those upper sanduskyians, they are always trying to get over.
July 4, 200717 yr I haven't posted Coshocton yet, I've been trying to jump around with my posts. the honor of Bob Brenly must be defended! (fairly sure he's the city's only famous resident............yes, the NL champ bob brenly from back in the day)
