LOL...  Look at this thing fold.  There is no way a person would have survived this crash.

Here is the same test with a Volkswagen Jetta.  Notice the cabin is completely intact.

Building cars to pass crash tests doesn't make them any safer. It just makes them do well on tests. It's like memorizing the state capitals - it doesn't make you smarter, it just lets you pass the test.

I would disagree with that apples to oranges comparison.

Maybe the folks in the back two rows of seating would have survived, provided they were wearing seatbelts. The drivers...there ass is grass. Or would just be really, really, Fkd up.

the driver looks much less dead in the second clip

People still drive the Pontiac Montana... I mean the Chevrolet Uplander... I mean the Saturn Relay... I mean the Buick Terraza... ?

Chrysler is the only domestic automaker that currently markets a minivan. The rest are considered SUVs or "crossovers", but these days SUVs are just 4wd minivans anyway.

Comparing the Jetta to the Montana, I'd say think the driver of the Montana is more fully enjoying the splendor of Newton's first law.

Broken dummy leg and the first slow motion thread got my attention.

...and the Pontiac Montana driving has a soundtrack :)
