Fast forward to the weekend, we head over for lunch to Cyrus - a new spot along the west bank of the Flats. On the way, a peek down the Viaduct:

I'm thinking the former Arhaus building (the yellow one) would make nice lofts:

Next up, we wanted to check out Wendy Park - highly recommended. Anyhoo, the entrance is shared with Edgewater Park, where kites abounded:

Once inside Wendy Park, it was quite a layout - volleyball courts, lakefront, skyline views. Too bad we haven't had more rain, the grass could use it:

Beautiful!

lovely!  I love the picture of the mall with the lake in the background and the sunrise pics of The May Co. and detroit/superior!

The pic in your mans sunglasses was super cool as well!

Nice!  Great day.

Gorgeous! These make me homesick for Cleveland, and I haven't even lived there! :-)

I love the first picture with Bridgeview apartments in the background. Nice view of the river and buildings while you're eating. :) Nice pics.

very nice. another one where i feel like we were walking around with you, i like that.

I do kinda dig the Wendy Park sign. I've stopped a couple times (sans camera ) to check on the progress of the rust behind the brushed metal lettering. Totally venue appropriate and a cool idea. Now, whether it's up to Avenue district "World Class Signage" standards, I couldn't say...

Wow!!!!!!!  Beautiful.

I'd like to see more pics of Cleveland neighborhoods. Im curious to see what they look like. I've only been there once and didn't really pay attention to the urban landscape.

Great shots, MayDay!  I'll have to post some of my Tuesday night volleyball pics from Wendy Park.  That place is hoppin!

Great photos, as usual MayDay.

David wants Cleveland neighborhood shots? I'll see if I can supply some this weekend (though there are different 'hoods posted on different threads, such as my recent shots of the Edgewater neighborhood during the Clifton Arts Fest).

My sentiments exactly.  Dandy set of pics.  A question about the first pic:  just what is it he may do?  :-D

One of my favorite Cleveland photos (Jennie Jones 1984).  No one has captured the beauty of Cleveland quite like MayDay has since then.

Brilliant.
