March 11Mar 11 The massive Downtown Ramp Up project continues to move along on the southern edge of Downtown. Snatched a few of the new bridges/overpasses as I passed under a few hours ago
March 21Mar 21 Had no idea this project was planned. This did seem to help on 670 so that isn’t awful. I-71 SmartLane

April 9Apr 9 Few looks at the new bridge decks being built on the southern edge of Downtown as part of Downtown Ramp Up. These will eventually hold the Front Street Bridge and the crossover to Fulton St for Inbound Downtown ramps This part of the project is shown on the map below in light purple (Phase 4R)- specifically where the new ramp crosses over the red just before Front St

With as many cars end up in buildings, all I can picture is cars flying off the bridge and into the Scioto.

No more fast paced entrances and exits on 3rd and 4th streets, and once those bridges are capped with buildings on 3rd it will make the connection seamless from downtown to GV/Brewery District. I do like the bridges connecting into downtown better and removing several ramps. The flyover ramp is a bit obnoxious but is a necessity with the new on and off ramps. Whenever the "fix" is done, we need to immediately start on rail transit, it will be used and will be a huge success (at least in my dreams).
May 25May 25 More from Downtown Ramp UpAnd a few looks at what will be a rebuilt portion of W Fulton St that will snake along the new freeway wall and connect Short St to High St at Livingston Ave
6 hours ago6 hr The Downtown Ramp Up project continues to make the southern edge of downtown virtually unrecognizable...Can't wait to see the transformation of the area from High to Third- which will ramp up after the Front St bridge opens back up
