July 10, 200717 yr That's some bull $h!+ No but seriously, I hate people that don't clean up after their dogs. I always carry a few bags with me. I just hate when there's no trashcans around; I don't like carrying a bag full of dog sh*t around.
July 10, 200717 yr It's a good conversation starter. The stores around here sell pooper scoopers that work with a small grapple. They even come with thick bags to prevent leakage, and tie off easily.
July 10, 200717 yr I think with more people moving in to condensed urban nabes with dogs the Cleve has gotta do something. I hate that dogs crap right on the sidewalk in front of constantinos. Here at Stonebridge when we dont have our panties in a wad about the red light district or parking we are dealing with lazy homeowners who let their dogs use the restroom everywhere...come on people if you are going to have a dog, clean up!!!

July 10, 200717 yr In Columbus, poop bag dispensers are almost standard equipment in parks. They're in just about every Hamilton County/Cincinnati Park as well.
July 31, 200717 yr Well, for people who PEE ON TOILET SEATS, here is a saying. It hangs above the toilet at my parent's house -- When you sprinkle When you tinkle Be a sweetie And wipe the seatie
July 31, 200717 yr Well, for people who PEE ON TOILET SEATS, here is a saying. It hangs above the toilet at my parent's house -- When you sprinkle When you tinkle Be a sweetie And wipe the seatie I'm a fan of this old chestnut: Welcome to our ool. Notice there's no "p" in it. Let's keep it that way.
July 31, 200717 yr Maybe NY can come up with some innovative ideas for the problem like China did with panda poop : South Florida Sun-Sentinel.com Panda Poop to Be Recycled Into Souvenirs By AUDRA ANG Associated Press Writer 9:17 AM EDT, July 30, 2007 BEIJING Nothing says "I love you" like a photo frame made from panda poop.
August 1, 200717 yr The problem is too many people buy dogs, but don't realize the responsibility that comes with them. That's why shelters are filling up with so many 'returned' animals... especially dogs. Fines are pretty heavy in my hometown. Up to $75. Believe it or not, this how the justified the amount. It's the cost to buy a new pair of shoes to replace the ones that were damaged when someone stepped in the sh!t. I am never going to own a dog, the reason is why is because I know I would be too lazy to take care of it like I should. So me, being a caring person for animals, will not own a dog for the well being of that animal. I don't mind taking care of my neighbor's dog though because they clean up the crap all over the yard when they get home from vacation.
August 14, 200717 yr People are pretty good about cleaning up after their dogs around here...sometimes. With our homeless population skyrocketing, it isn't dog poop we have to dodge. Ugh. It is suprising when people don't clean up after their pets-you just have to wonder what their houses look like-do they have dog crap in every corner? Maybe so, maybe doesn't bother them. Or, maybe they just don't give a rat's ass. I did hear one especially natural looking woman telling someone who told her to clean up after her pet that it was perfectly natural for her pet to go wherever, whenever without cleaning up . But she is the exception. The only thing I think is crazy is the workaholic who has the monster huge dog in a studio apartment then takes it on a 10 minute walk for excercise and call himself/herself a good pet owner. We do have a nice off leash park a block from me. Lots of happy yappy dogs.
August 14, 200717 yr Believe it or not, if your dog craps on concrete (usually in an extremely urban environment) you run the risk of people slipping on it and falling. A lot of elderly people injure themselves that way. That's one of the biggest reasons why there's a law.
August 15, 200717 yr It is suprising when people don't clean up after their pets-you just have to wonder what their houses look like-do they have dog crap in every corner? Their house is immaculate. The sidewalk is YOUR problem.
