Posted July 19, 200717 yr Nicely done rethinking of the Peanuts gang. Watch out for the Little Red Haired Girl.
July 19, 200717 yr Woah, is this something that will be developed in the future? This has potential to be a television show or something.
July 19, 200717 yr Lesbians... that's all I ask. Second frame from the top..... Nice piece of work, whoever did this.
July 19, 200717 yr I must say that I really don't like it. Call me a traditionalist when it comes to Peanuts.
July 19, 200717 yr I neglected to source the site. http://stage6.divx.com/Refuse-Life/blog/8825/ I do not think this is for an actual project. Just personal work. I did some searching and found the artist who actually did these. His name is gNAW and is mostly know for his "Furry" work. http://www.furaffinity.net/user/gnaw/ Here are a few more from his portfolio.
July 19, 200717 yr that is damn clever. it's spot on. i like it. it's better than the anime-ized bugs/daffy warner brothers cartoon show (whatever the heck that was called).
July 19, 200717 yr I can perfectly imagine what Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown would look like Anime-style. Great!
July 19, 200717 yr "I can perfectly imagine what Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown would look like Anime-style. Great! " For some reason, I doubt it would be a "football" she'd be pulling away from him now. >:)
July 19, 200717 yr Hmm... is it me or is PigPen (the anime version) sort of hot, in that scruffy/edgy-drifter sort of way? ??? clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
July 20, 200717 yr I like them all except for Charlie... he looks a little bit creepier than I'd expect.
July 20, 200717 yr I can't believe the activity on this thread ! :-) Mot of the characters seem ok for older characters. The little red haired girls is seriously hot. But I don't think I like Schroeder. He never struck me as the broody type.
July 20, 200717 yr ^ snoopy is kind of a bust. he couldn't go anywhere with it. aww well cant win'em all.
July 20, 200717 yr I can’t believe so many of you are in favor of the destruction such a classic cartoon. Some things in the world just shouldn’t ever be remade. As comic strips go...I think Peanuts in one of these things.
July 20, 200717 yr It's not a destruction - it's an homage, a tangent, an appreciation, an interpretation...let a thousand flowers bloom, maaaannn...
July 20, 200717 yr well at least they portrayed peppermint patty AKA "Sir" properly! Boy did she come out of the closet! :-D Why does Franklin look like a cheap MC Hammer?
July 20, 200717 yr ^ snoopy is kind of a bust. he couldn't go anywhere with it. aww well cant win'em all. Considering how much older the other characters are, I would assume Snoopy would be dead. :-)
July 20, 200717 yr Isn't Linus missing a security blanket? He's sniffing meth now or sending a message by having a hanky in his back pocket.
July 23, 200717 yr I can’t believe so many of you are in favor of the destruction such a classic cartoon. Some things in the world just shouldn’t ever be remade. As comic strips go...I think Peanuts in one of these things. I see it as kind of like Star Trek, the "remake" is a continuation. These are older characters, as Lucy makes clear.

As comic strips go...I think Peanuts in one of these things. While this isn't a remake (just someones hobby in redrawing the characters for fun), I do think the current Peanuts gang is irrelevant to the interests of today's youth. As sad as that may be, I for some reason think that the development of these drawings into something like a television series would be highly successful. Nothing wrong with the coexistence of both. Besides, I'm not in favor of reviving the Peanuts cartoon with original characters. It's signature work of Charles Shultz, and I'm happier that the series ended on such a high note, remaining popular to the very end. And it should stay that way.
July 23, 200717 yr I like them all except for Charlie... he looks a little bit creepier than I'd expect. I agree. Charlie Brown wasn't a thug, quite the opposite.
July 23, 200717 yr /approves /seconded. /bumped for great justice. /take off every zig!!! Interesting. Not surprised something like this happened, (either real or by fans or whatever) It's already occured for Marvel, Southpark, Powerpuff. Even the Simpsons has been anime/manganized by fans and parodies. Thanks for sharing Musky, good work as always. Lesbians... that's all I ask. Well it is anime we are talking about... **flees**
