July 22, 200717 yr That Lamborghini certainly got uglier when they put those aftermarket wheels on it.
July 22, 200717 yr Never been to Ottawa Hills but I just looked it up on google earth.. Are you sure? Bexley is only 3 miles from downtown Columbus; it has 13k people and the housing stock is very diverse. There are no cul-de-sacs, garages are in the back, accessed by alleys, etc..
July 23, 200717 yr Wow, cool area. This is only 3 miles from downtown? Some of the houses look like they're from Indian Hill.
July 23, 200717 yr ^Yeah, it is amazing how the landscape changes so quickly. Actually, the mansions on larger lots are more like 2.2 miles from downtown. Its when you go further out that it gets more urban. But in Bexley, the majority of houses, even the larger ones are still on small lots, which is awesome.
July 23, 200717 yr Ottawa Hills is nothing like Bexley, except for similar architecture in the smaller housing stock. If anything, Ottawa Hills should be compared to the area of Worthington, south of their downtown. Anywho, always a fan of Bexley. Easily one of Columbus' best suburbs and love Main Street's subtle vibrancy. "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
July 23, 200717 yr Subtle vibrancy... that's a perfect way to describe it! I really wish they had an old business district on Broad Street in Bexley. Main is kinda inconvenient to walk to if you're north of Broad.
July 24, 200717 yr And not just a Graeter's but an ART DECO Graeter's! "You don't just walk into a bar and mix it up by calling a girl fat" - buildingcincinnati speaking about new forumers
July 24, 200717 yr Ottawa Hills is a hidden gem. While small, one of the most attractive suburbs in Ohio.
