July 29, 200816 yr tax breaks? think of that couple still having sex after about three or four of'em. eww. Well it happens, my brother and SOL, created three kids while living with me. Then had two more while living with my parents. He claims to this day, that he was forced to have so many kids, since my Ex and I weren't doing out part. lol.
July 29, 200816 yr Think about it, I'm surprised they're still able. YIKES! They're in their 40's....not dead! I'm sure some of you gents can still sire a child.

July 29, 200816 yr I raised 2 girls by myself, its not that big of a deal. They even went to the bar with me after my softball games........... They were (and still are) my life, there was no "draining" of my time and resources....... I don't know what to do with all this free time now!
July 29, 200816 yr I'm just saying, raising a few kids is a really selfless act; I can't imagine what it's like raising 18 of them. I think even the most patient person would go bananas.
July 29, 200816 yr My cousin and his wife have six kids, 2 biological and the remaining four are adopted. All of the adopted kids have some special need or other. What I'm getting at, though is that the two oldest help care for the the younger kids, taking some of the pressure off the parents. Not much, mind you, but enough to make it feasible. You're probably getting this with the 18 or so as well.
July 29, 200816 yr Those folks must have some help. I mean, if she's had 18 kids and the oldest is 23, this woman has been pertetually pregnant for 23 years.
July 29, 200816 yr Well, she's not wearing stilleto's, that's for sure. Maybe she was and that started this.....
July 29, 200816 yr I could not possibly remmeber the names of all my children if i had more then eight or so... like the roman's did i would just call them, number one, two etc.
July 29, 200816 yr Inelasticity isn't just an economics term? Is that what you're saying? HAHAHHHAHAHAHA As an economics geek, that really got to me!
July 29, 200816 yr I could not possibly remmeber the names of all my children if i had more then eight or so... like the roman's did i would just call them, number one, two etc. Or you can do like my grandfather and just call everyone "hey you"! lol
July 30, 200816 yr I watched some of the Urban Age lecture series online a while ago but didn't realize it was such an extensive study. I was at Barnes and Noble and noticed this book based on the same project. I skimmed through it and it seemed really interesting but I have no doubt that the book costs at least 60-70 bucks. I couldn't find a price on it. Still, it looks like the end-all, be-all book on the future of urban form and it's social ramifications in a global context. If you guys ever go to B&N or the library, check it out. Synopsis More and more people are moving into towns and cities to live and work, which is altering the urban/rural balance of countries worldwide. THE ENDLESS CITY is an unparalleled study of the growth of six of the world's international cities (New York, Shanghai, London, Mexico City, Johannesburg, and Berlin), exploring key structural, social, and economic factors. This book was overseen by the London School of Economics, and features extensive research and coherent texts by world-renowned professionals in the field of urban planning and development. The information is presented in a comprehensive and visually compelling sequence, enabling quick and efficient reference as well as offering material that is exciting to study. Each city is examined individually in its own chapter as well as being analyzed comparatively in an observational chapter. THE ENDLESS CITY is authoritatively edited by Ricky Burdett and Deyan Sudjic in collaboration with the London School of Economics and the Urban Age Project, an expanding international organization seeking a new urban agenda for global cities
August 5, 200816 yr Was vomiting all night, dehydrated as hell because I can't hold anything down, I have the chills, and my back hurts like HELL. Can this happen from food poisoning? I don't think I cooked my steak long enough last night or something. It's weird, every other time I've vomited, I've felt better by now unless it was due to a fever. This back pain is insane.
August 5, 200816 yr What the steak cooked on and was it a fresh cut of meat? Sometimes virus' can be on your utensils, or things you use to prepare your food, not the meat. Example, you cooked chicken last week, touch a can of seasoning, salt/peper shaker, nob or a handle and don't wipe it down with bleach after you cook. This week you touch that salt/pepper shaker or nob/handle and then handle your steak. Go to your drug store and buy Pedialyte juice. Drink ½ the bottle and then in two hours drink the other half. Take some excedrin for the pain.
August 5, 200816 yr Ditto on the Pedialyte. Gatorade or any sports beverage with electrolytes will do as well, but the Pedialyte (or store brand equivalent) is best. They even make Pediapops. Great for easing your system back into food-retention mode on a hot, hot day. If all else fails, treat yourself to another thick, juicy steak. Sorry.
August 5, 200816 yr I couldn't find pedialyte at the store but I did get some anti-nausea stuff. I'm just gonna drink gatorade instead of pedialyte. Thanks.

August 5, 200816 yr I'm not driving back to Wal-greens! (I looked in the pharmaceutical area). We can tell you've never had nor taken care of any kiddies. lol
August 5, 200816 yr When I babysit for my sister's little rugrats everything is there for me - and it's a good thing because when she says she's just "leaving for an hour" it means 4 hours. If she says she's leaving for 45 minutes, it means 3 hours. It's calculable! I don't mind it but someone lied when they came up with the cliche "terrible twos" when apparently it starts at one. The kid eats dog food and tries to immitate the dogs by licking their water. If I ever went out and bought anything for Aiden it would probably be a leash :)
August 6, 200816 yr This Modern World makes me harken back to some of the Detroit Weeklies that used to carry Red Meat alongside it
August 6, 200816 yr The four-legged "phallic fornication machine" made me burst out laughing at work today!!! Video game's user content spawns naughty Web 'Sporn' By Mallory Simon, CNN, July 30, 2008 (CNN) -- When makers of one of the most anticipated video games of the year invited users to help design part of the game, the gamers jumped at the chance to create animated characters. But some took it upon themselves to create something entirely different: a new kind of Internet porn. It started when the makers of "Spore" released a Creature Creator program that allowed users to develop their own characters to drum up hype before the game's scheduled release in September.
August 6, 200816 yr Orbit magazine images are virtually unGISable. I didn't even bother searching "Fun Magazine."
August 7, 200816 yr ^ wow yeah thats a blast from the past. believe it or not orbit was available around bgsu, it had a long reach. i cant even remember the last time i bothered looking at a 'weekly rag,' the internet killed them. ***** the guy who does the nysonglines website i use a lot also has also put together an addictive collection of about 50 of google maps: "Here Be Dragons An Atlas of the Imagination This collection of Google Maps attempts to chart the world as we dream it to be--the places where our heroes, villains and monsters walked the earth, whether they did so in reality or fantasy. Here you'll find Valley Forge and Sherwood Forest, Camelot and La Mancha, Arkham and Metropolis--in short, the locations of all the most important dreams. August 8, 200816 yr "Don't say anything you wouldn't want your mother to read!" Where do you think most of those neanderthals learned their manners?!? I knew a young man who I thought must have worked hard to become as rude and boorish as possible. Then I encountered his parents, and realized that the son was trying to rise above his upbringing.
August 10, 200816 yr Anyone ever heard of a band called Secret & Whisper? If not, they are amazing and I think you should check them out!!!
August 11, 200816 yr Anyone ever heard of a band called Secret & Whisper? If not, they are amazing and I think you should check them out!!! more info please
August 11, 200816 yr Well, they have one album out so far. If anyone knows the bands Circa Survive or Saosin, it sounds like a combination of those two bands. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=334437187 You can listen to them at that link.
August 12, 200816 yr Ahahahahahaha, I picture the "conservatives" having the same voices as the Dinobots.
August 16, 200816 yr Has anyone been to Steak 'n Shake? I went to one when I attended REC in Chillicothe and it was amazing. Too bad they don't have any in my part of PA. :-(
August 16, 200816 yr Steak 'n' Shake is OK. The chili and the malts are better than the actual burgers, imo.

August 16, 200816 yr Has anyone ever watched "The Bank Job?" ... It's got Jason Stathem in it, which makes it hard for me to take seriously, but the storyline is off the hook. No one ever got caught and in today's dollars would be one of the largest bank heist in history. I really liked it.
August 16, 200816 yr What about "21?" ... We loved that movie too. I'll probably buy this. If you rent it, watch the special features section.
August 16, 200816 yr Steak 'n Shakes have awesome Frisco Melts. Awww, Damn! It's lunch time, and there's one not far from where I live! :-D
