Posted July 25, 200717 yr The Queen City - Cincinnati, Ohio I will have more in the coming week, here are two photos from this weekend to hold you over. And yes that was the color of the water, I did not photoshop it. The Ohio has a green/blue hue to it at times.

July 25, 200717 yr That view will be immensly better once the Central Riverfront Park is complete. The Banks will also do wonders, but the park will have a fantastic impact on that view. I like the one with the boats the best...very nice.
July 26, 200717 yr For me, the second picture is best. The way the bridge color and river color appear similar and then with Scripps reflecting similar color...simply beautiful.
July 26, 200717 yr That yacht is overkill for the Ohio river. Very nice pictures of Cincy and the Ohio. RiverViewer: Wouldn't a shallow Ohio be blue rather than brown because of the lack of rain bringing dirt down into the river?

The dry summer means lack of surface runoff that carries soil into the rivers. The Saint Marys River across the street from my house is less brown than usual, this summer.
