Posted July 27, 200717 yr On lengthy photo threads, if a person posts a lengthy photo gallery in one post, I will not be able to see the bottom 1/4 of the images typically. It just cuts out and shows nothing but placeholders for the images. Oddly enough, this quirk happens here mainly at home and not so much at work. I use FF2, however, it did it with FF1 as well. And for avatars, they have to be SFW? I have a cartoony one that features nudity.
July 27, 200717 yr I have the same problems with photo threads...I seem to have that problem regardless of what computer I'm on though.

July 27, 200717 yr Safari does not have the problem with long image posts that FF has. Dunno about IE, Opera, Konqueror or any of the other browsers out there. I am not an admin but I would think the avatars should be SFW or more importantly SF the little children. Schoolkids probably find references to this forum all the time in school project researching.
July 27, 200717 yr ^Look for context clues! lol. Safe for work. Between Solitaire and message boards, I don't know how anyone gets anything done in their offices!
July 27, 200717 yr "I am not an admin but I would think the avatars should be SFW or more importantly SF the little children." One of the reasons I'm adamant about it is that we do get students researching here, and I don't want any flak. Also along those lines, I'd prefer profanity be kept to a minimum or that people use #@% so the forum isn't blocked. clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram
July 27, 200717 yr Isn't there a "hide naughty words" feature available in the forum? It defaults to be turned off, but couldn't it default to being turned on? Then spiders and guests and such would not see any obscenities, even in the older posts...and then folks could choose to turn that feature back off if they like seeing bad words in all their glory...
July 27, 200717 yr That's one of those techy questions that rich might be able to answer :-) clevelandskyscrapers.com Cleveland Skyscrapers on Instagram

Yes there is such a feature but every word that we want to block needs to be added. I could do my best, but I'm sure I would miss a ton of them.
November 4, 200717 yr Anyone ever figure out the picture problem with firefox and how to fix it? I am also having problems viewing the last 1/4 of a picture thread...
November 4, 200717 yr Get the Firefox - IE addon, that's what I use to view picture threads and it's easy as pie. It's the only time I come close to using IE. I'd rather cut myself and jump into a pool full of diseases then use IE.
