Here's an interview contained in Bruce Mao's bookMassive Changes, with Jaime Lerner, the Mayor of Curitiba, Brazil.  He is also an architect, and helped in planning the mass transit system in that city, considered by many, one of the greatest in the world.  The idea of coordinating different modes of mass transit is one that seems to be missing in many American cities.  Cleveland in particular has an opportunity to combine transit options with the Euclid Corridor and the Red Line as they traverse the East Side.
