Cincinnati: Skyline, Roebling Bridge & Ohio River on a Clear Day

Featured Replies

Beautiful!!!  Those are some of the finest shots of the riverfront I've ever seen.  You have the touch and the magic eye.

imagine those shots with qcs II

That is some truly fantastic stuff...I'd say some of those riverfront shots rate as definitive images...just wonderful!

And that second shot?  The QCCA should buy that shot and use it on the front of every brochure they publish!

Wow, fantastic shots!

Great pics. I may want to introduce some of these at the City Planning Commission next week in its discussion of The Banks project. Would that be OK?

Thanks.

ugh.....i have fallen in love all over again with roebling.....ugh!  great pictures.

Gorgeous pics!

I'd love it if the river could be that beautiful even when a large part of the eastern US isn't experiencing a drought. Could happen, but it'll take a big change in a lot of the practices in agriculture and industry.

BRAVO!!!

beautiful pictures.

What Riverviewer said.

Every daggone one of these looks like a postcard !

Awesome Monte. Postcards . . . all of them.

Fantastic!  Love the riverboat shots.

Thanks for the kind words, I just got back from the riverfront this evening but I didn't have my camera so these will have to do for now.  I also have about 200 photos of Cleveland to go through from two weeks ago so those will be up next.

sweet pics!

You got fantastic lighting.

Love the riverboat shots...fantastic!

These pictures are quite nice.  I particularly enjoyed seeing the banks of the Ohio on the Cincinnati side.  The change between the Public Landing, the wall and then green area after the Suspension Bridge was fun (for lack of a better word) to see.

Really beautiful. Why isn't the river brown? (and this is a serious question)

Not much rain in the past several months.  That is when it looks the best from a visual standpoint.

It's representative of the turnaround that Cincinnati is experiencing.  Mother Nature has taken notice, and jumped on board.

Fabulous! This shot is just ridiculous!

I don't get the humor, Cincy-Rise.
